Bayeh, Birhanu, and Melkamu Alemayehu. “Scientific Community Debates on Causes and Consequences of Global Warming: Review”. Bahir Dar University, 29 January 2019, http://ejol.aau.edu.et/index.php/JAES/article/download/1192/962/
This article was a good source for me to have a general understanding of the current situation of global warming. Bayeh as a politician in Ethiopia demonstrate the natural causes of global warming and the causes of human activities in detail. Through various data presented by the author, I got that the author holds an opinion of the more significant effects of human activities. The author illustrates the effects of global warming from four aspects: release of carbon dioxide by fertilizer, its effects on plants and animals survival, melting of ice, and increase in average temperatures and temperature extremes. I concluded these effects to prove the severity of global warming, and to inspire readers to take affirmative action. From this article, readers could also get a conclusion that people all around the world should work together to ease the situation of global warming and people need to find out an effective means to improve the current environment.

Fast, Dennis. “The Reality of Climate Change”. The New Yorker, 14 October 2018, https://www.newyorker.com/books/double-take/sunday-reading-the-reality-of-climate-change
The article makes it clear that human beings should pay more attention to the problem of global warming, and it is doubtful whether people are willing to take measures to solve the problem. In the video attached in this article, people have to realize that they should work together to face the growing temperature and people need to make good collaborate to settle down the matter of global warming and climate change.

Jang, S. Mo, and P. Sol Hart. “Polarized frames on ‘climate change’ and ‘global warming’ across countries and states: Evidence from Twitter big data”. University of South Carolina, 17 November 2015, https://research.fit.edu/media/site-specific/research fitedu/coast-climate-adaptation-library/climatecommunications/youth-climate-amp-social-media
The biggest feature of this article named “Polarized frames on ‘climate change’ and ‘global warming’ across countries and states: Evidence from Twitter big data” is grasping evidence from big data on Twitter. It is a kind of novel method to prove one’s opinion, as we all know that Twitter is one of the largest software with a large number of users. This article also makes a difference between climate change and global warming, which clarifies the specific effects of global warming creating a deeper understanding of the severity of the great issue. Leahy, Stephen. “Climate change impacts worse than expected, the global report warns”, 7 October 2018, https://www.nationalgeographic.com/environment/2018/10/ipcc-report-climate-change-impacts-forests-emissions/
Stephen Leahy is an International Environmental Journalist, and he wrote this article that focuses on illustrating the worse consequences of global warming to appeal to people’s attention. It employs much data from IPCC which is famous for its five reports on global warming, and I also cited these five reports in my paper to prove that human activities should be responsible for the increasing temperature and severe condition of global warming. Additionally, the author also expresses concerns about the current situation of the forest, and he mentions that reforestation and improving forest management are great ways to cut emissions. Therefore, the forest plays a significant role in the mitigation of global warming. From this paper, I also got something beneficial about the knowledge of climate change and global warming. This article is an excellent source for the reader who is interested in the current situation of global warming and the effective method of the mitigation of global warming.

In this article, I could get an overall knowledge of the transformation of climate. It discusses whether global warming is simply due to human actions, which comes to the conclusion that climate change is caused by various aspects like eccentricity of the earth, but it is mainly caused by human behaviors. As for the past environment, the present warming trend and the prediction of future climate, the reader could get a clear explanation from this article, as well. I benefited a lot from this article because of its distinctive and reliable data, and the paper also helped me a lot to make sense of the line between the different situations in diverse periods of time.
