formal letter of introduction

My name is Shuyu Zhang, as you know I was born in China, Henan. I was moved to United States in 2010, when I was 10. I like reading horror or psychological novels in Chinese very much. To tell the truth, I like work very much, but I don’t like school very much. Being with my classmates is not my strong point. I prefer to be independent. I like traveling everywhere. Last summer I traveled to Beijing, Nanjing and Shanghai by myself. This year I’m going back to finish my endless adventures. In order to keep my parents from worrying about my personal safety, I volunteered to sign up for Taekwondo. I have a lovely dog named coco, which is a birthday gift from my father. My dog looks like a fox. It has fluffy, soft brown hair, beautiful black eyes, slender limbs and a big, long tail. My favorite prank to play with it is called “kiss mark”, and when I put lipstick on it, I like to kiss on its side face. Then his face will have a kiss mark on his face, and then he looked at me innocently and pitifully, happy to think about it.
If I were to be described in three words, it would be timid, sensitive and independent. I care about the impression of others on me, and I am easily hurt by other people’s words. Because of my experience, I don’t like to argue with others, so I prefer to be alone. When I’m alone, I like to reador watch movies while listening to music. My friend said that whenever I talk about animals, my eyes are full of confidence. Whenever I panic, I will think of my high school principal said to me, “Calm down, you are young, you are single, you are beautiful, you do not need panic.” Right! I have so many advantages, why should I panic? My personality is unpredictable and elusive. Maybe that’s what I’m not growing up yet. In a word, I’m glad to be able to take part in your course this semester. I will spare no effort. I hope I won’t waste any day in this semester.
